After training in classical and contemporary dance at the CNSMD de Lyon and a brief career as a performer (with Josette Baïz), Denis Plassard created his first solo, Propos, in 1990, which later gave its name to the company he founded in 1991.

For over 30 years, he has been the choreographer and dancer of Cie Propos, building a repertoire of works that blend playfulness, text, and humor. He also develops projects in photography (Hors Sol, photo novels), sound (audio guides, guided warm-ups, indoor radio-guided experiences), and play (La clinique du docteur D).

Passionate about sharing dance with everyone, he regularly collaborates with theater companies (CDN de Valence, Théâtre Craie, Turak, Raskine & Cie), circus companies (Virevolt, CNAC, Rasposo, Cie SoLau), music ensembles (Ensemble Boréades), and dance companies (Käfig, Panthera Ballet Kazan, Russia).”
