CO² - CHOREOGRAPHERS & COMPOSERS is a festival that was organized by BIPOD & IRTIJAL In Partnership with the Norwegian Embassy in Beirut & Performing Arts Hub Norway from the 28th of September till the 5th of October 2014, in Lebanon.
CO² brings together artists from two disciplines: dance and music to create new and genuine collaborative site-specific creations
Organized in partnership with IRTIJAL-Beirut International Festival for Experimental Music
CO2-choreographers & composers' is a new artistic platform that aims at introducing some fresh air into the Lebanese artistic and cultural scene by instigating collaborations between two very popular art mediums: dance and music. CO² brings together artists from both disciplines, to create new and genuine collaborative work, leading to performances in public and outdoor spaces, as well as cultural venues and theaters. This first edition of CO2 will be based on exchange and collaboration projects between Lebanese and Norwegian artists and is supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Beirut. CO2 will take place in Beirut, in addition to performances in Baakline, Deir El Qamar, and Zahle.
