Participants from Lebanon, Egypt, Iran and Germany will participate in TAKWEEN 2018. They will be working intensively with 4 leading choreographers:

Each Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm, Maqamat Beit El Raqs will open the studio for the public to meet the choreographers and witness the outcome of the week with the participants.
Takween has been a key event on many dancers and choreographers calendars for the past 5 years. This intensive training program is lead by internationally renowned artists offering the dancers a thorough technical training and will help them become independent and creative artists. Moreover, Takween aims at creating light around the artistic vision and the development of young choreograhers careers.
The training program will begin on the 11th of June until the 8th of July 2018 at Maqamat Beit El Raqs, situated at the Institut Francais of Deir El Qamar, Lebanon. TAKWEEN is a project supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Beirut and in collaboration with Institut Francais of Deir El Qamar.
