A group dance piece choreographed by Omar Rajeh for the 'Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln'. The work is based on playing with the idea of 'Mass'. It seems that this word is always present in our everyday life. Not one day passes without hearing words like: Mass energy, Mass media, Massive, Mass murder(er), Mass order, Mass demonstration, Mass destruction, The Masses, Mass departure, Mass execution, Mass production, Mass communication, Mass education, Mass meeting, Mass unemployment, Mass radiography, Mass hysteria … and so on.
The work started from the definition of 'Mass' as a grouping of individual parts or elements that compose a unified body of unspecified size or quantity. A dense collection of objects seeming to form one body.
