"If you're going to explore uncharted territory, it's okay to carry a compass, but not a map" Derek Bailey (guitarist - improv music) Mia Habis, Cynthia Zaven, and Øyvind Skarbø are exploring their way in the performance like tightrope walkers or explorers of an unknown journey through sound and movement. An intimate three voices monologue which starts from an abstract concept exploring the idea of 'expectations'.

Room was presented within the framework of the CO2 festival, a new artistic platform that aims at introducing some fresh air into the Lebanese artistic and cultural scene by instigating collaborations between two very popular art mediums: dance and music. CO² will brings together artists from both disciplines, to create new and genuine collaborative work, leading to performances in public and outdoor spaces, as well as cultural venues and theaters. It is founded and organized by BIPOD-Beirut International Platform of Dance and IRTIJAL-Beirut International Festival for Experimental Music. This first edition of CO2 was based on exchange and collaboration projects between Lebanese and Norwegian artists and is supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Beirut.
